Facebook User Data Deletion Instructions

Khan Invoice is committed to protecting your privacy. If you have signed up for Khan Invoice using your Facebook account and wish to delete your data, please follow the instructions below.

What Data We Collect from Facebook

If you choose to sign up or log in using Facebook authentication, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your Facebook profile picture (optional)

We do not access or store any other Facebook data, and we do not post anything on your behalf.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1: Delete from Khan Invoice

  1. Log in to your Khan Invoice account at http://localhost:8050/admin
  2. Navigate to your Profile or Account Settings
  3. Click on "Delete Account" or "Deactivate Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion

This will permanently delete all your data from Khan Invoice, including any data obtained from Facebook.

Option 2: Remove App from Facebook

  1. Go to your Facebook Apps and Websites settings
  2. Find "Khan Invoice" in the list of active apps
  3. Click "Remove" next to Khan Invoice
  4. Confirm the removal

This will revoke Khan Invoice's access to your Facebook account but will not delete your Khan Invoice account. To completely remove your data, you should also delete your account using Option 1 or Option 3.

Option 3: Request Manual Deletion

If you're unable to access your account or prefer manual deletion, contact us directly:

Please include your registered email address and Facebook name in your request. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your Khan Invoice account, we will permanently delete:

  • Your account information (name, email, profile picture)
  • Your business profile information
  • All invoices you have created
  • Customer records you have added
  • Any other personal data associated with your account

Note: Some data may be retained for a limited period as required by Nigerian law for tax and accounting purposes (typically 6 years as per FIRS requirements).

Data Deletion Timeline

  • 1 Immediate: Your account will be deactivated immediately
  • 2 Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems
  • 3 Within 90 days: All data will be removed from backup systems
  • 4 Exception: Data required for legal/tax compliance may be retained as required by law
